Lord Hogan-Howe was born in Sheffield and joined the Health Service before becoming a police officer in Sheffield. He later became Commissioner of the Metropolitan Police, reducing crime by a fifth, and Chief Constable of Merseyside during which time crime was reduced by a third and they were adjudged the best force in England and Wales. Lord Hogan-Howe served as Her Majesty’s Inspector of Constabulary with special responsibility for Counter Terrorism and Organised Crime. As Commissioner of the Met he led the United Kingdom Police Counter Terrorist Command and led the Met during the very successful 2012 London Olympics. <br/><br/> In 2013 Lord Hogan-Howe was knighted for his contribution to policing and in 2017 raised to the House of Lords. He is an honorary Fellow of Merton College Oxford and holds honorary Doctorates and degrees from Sheffield University, Liverpool University, Sheffield Hallam University, Liverpool John Moore University and Royal Holloway University. He holds a MA(Oxon) in Jurisprudence, an MBA and a Diploma in Criminology from Cambridge University. He is a Non-Executive Director with the Cabinet Office.

Currently CMO for a leading Swiss based bike company, Mei-Ling brings to the Board extensive commercial and marketing experience at an executive level. Previously holding the role of Global Head of Media and Audience Marketing at Red Bull, based at the brand’s global headquarters in Austria, Mei-Ling has over 25 years’ experience in marketing and media. Mei-Ling previously held senior roles at entertainment brands including Sony Music Entertainment, and with major media publishers DMG, The Telegraph Group and VICE Media. A commercial marketing professional, Mei-ling has successfully led both the digital transformation and strategic development of media and consumer goods brands across multiple platforms and delivered the rapid scaling of several start-ups, such as G2 Esports, within the media space.

Patrick acts as an advisor to, and invests in, startup and growth companies. Amongst his roles he was chair of IMC Worldwide, a consultancy with a turnover of over £50M, until their recent sale. As chair, he helped build JustAccounts, a Software as a Service accounting company. He was on the Advisory Board of the Liaison Financial Services Group which helps the NHS save money to spend more on health outcomes through use of technology. He was a non-executive director of Finch Consulting, a specialist engineering consultancy, until their successful management buyout. Patrick spent over 20 years in management and technology consultancy with PA Consulting Group, ultimately as the Global Head of IT Consulting and Executive Director on PA’s International Board, responsible for all consulting operations and a half dozen or so venture companies. PA is a management and technology consulting group with 2,000 staff in 20 countries and £400 million turnover per annum. Prior to this he managed software development teams with British Telecom.

A former senior detective with 27 years’ experience, Jonathan led the UK’s response to tackling grand corruption and asset tracing. A former adviser to No. 10 Downing Street and the Cabinet Office, Jonathan led the global asset tracing response following the Arab Spring. Jonathan is an authority in anti-corruption, anti-bribery, AML and asset recovery, with a proven track record of success in these fields. Jonathan’s determination to seek out innovation has enabled his clients, including global law firms and international banks, to access critical data for favourable solutions. Jonathan holds an LL.B (Hons) and an MA in Governance and Anti-corruption. Jonathan is the financial crime advisor to the board and Chairman of Nationwide Building Society and continues to advise governments and international organisations on how to tackle financial crime and corruption.

George is a highly experienced professional with specialist knowledge and proven experience in law enforcement and financial services regulation in the context of a broad range of financial crime settings. He has worked in specialist departments within New Scotland Yard, precursor agencies of the National Crime Agency, and latterly the Financial Conduct Authority. His expertise includes the investigation and successful prosecution of ground-breaking serious and complex fraud and money laundering cases. George has extensive knowledge of the UK’s regulatory anti-money laundering and counter terrorist financing regime.

Drew is a recent master’s degree graduate with an MA in Corruption and Governance, achieving the highest overall score in his year, and highest scoring dissertation, graduating with a high Distinction. He has previously worked within the due-diligence industry for well-known finance institutions. He has honed his OSINT investigatory skills, and can utilise, customise, and often create a range of command-line OSINT tools based in Python, JavaScript, PHP, and HTML.
